Lymphatic drainage
Lymphatic System
The lymphatic system works with the circulatory and immune systems through a network of vessels, nodes, and organs. The human body contains 400-700 lymph nodes. The lymphatic system has it’s own rhythm likes the waves of the ocean.
Lymphatic drainage
Lymphatic drainage is the natural function of the lymphatic system, which is an essential part of immunity. Unlike the cardiovascular system it does not have a built-in pump. This happens naturally through hydration, movement, exercise and massage.
As a trained lymphatic therapist I work in harmony with the body’s natural rhythms, gently guiding the lymphatic fluid with very light pressure toward functional lymph nodes.
Symptoms of sluggish lymphatic system:
Feeling bloated or puffy
Headaches
Muscle or joint pain
Sinus problems
Recurring cold and flus
Digestion irregularities
Fatigue
Symptoms from going through a detox program
